SAVE THE STREET CULTURE:
In 2013 there was a plan by the state to relocate the park in order to use this space for stores & restaurants. 27,282 person wrote a letter of objections, including the former director of the National Theatre, and after eighteen months of campaign the plans to redevelop the area were temporarily throw in the bin. Long live Southbank!

A BRITISH SYMBOL:
“All the world’s a stage, And all the man and woman merely players: They have their exits and their entrance; And one man in his time plays many parts.” William Shakespeare. By @akajimmyc
DIFFERENT PROSPECTIVES:
Graffiti was originally an act of vandalism infused with passion and communication, something that created generations of rebels and creators, something that was chose by some and randomly caught by others. A movement from the underground that stormed the hearts of all kids of souls while growing the criminal record of some others. Nowadays cities promote and select the urban planning of street art galleries and often use graffiti artists to re-evaluate bad looking buildings and complexes. Just to remember us that the world is always spinning keeping things moving
SIGN’S AS STREET ART:
“The first step - especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money - the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.” •Chuck Palahniuk

KRAKOW STREET SCENE:
Poland has a long & strong tradition of graphic poster art for films and theatres, and sometimes that can still be seen in the stylish aesthetics of posters all over the country’s walls and signboards. Sadly poster art & Street art in nowadays Krakow is not as strong and common like i've been told, most of the pieces around the city are just instagram stops without a real message or purpose, but in between of here and there you can still find some interesting works. I guess its time to step up your game once again locals, such a rich culture should share a richer message, especially nowadays.
GOWANOUS SCENE:
Dasic Fernández is a Chilean artist from Rancagua who moved in New York City in December 2009. He started painting as a basic graffiti kid by tagging buildings around, but in a handful of year his works became a powerful tool of dialogue and a gorgeous sight in the streets of many city's. Thank you for your work @dasicfernandez

TOURISTY STREETART:
Lovers from all over the world tie their names on this symbolic place as much as heart broken ones, finding some kind of consolation in sharing something with someone like Juliet who could understand them, or just to be part of this hundred years long tradition. Back in the days the entire building was covered by these multicolor graffiti messages and chewed gums used to hold the paper messages to the wall, but after a complete clean up in 2019 you can now leave your names only on specific panels at the entrance. Otherwise you can be fined for 3000€ or one year in prison.

The East Side Gallery consist of 105 pieces painted in 1990 on a 1.3km section of the Berlin Wall. It's the largest and longest-lasting open air gallery in the world and it gathers artists from all over the globe.
HHI
In 1989 the Berlin Wall extended for 155 kilometers, it had 302 observation towers, 259 dog runs and 20 bunkers guarded by more than 11,000 soldiers, but one side of the wall was very different than the other one. The west side of the wall was covered in graffiti, the east side was not.

Every city should be more painted, more blank spaces should be filled, more stories needs to be told and more people should be free to express themselves.
